Biomerics offers superior quality plastics machining via our state of the art software, skilled craftsmen and high tech equipment. Our EDM and CNC equipment provides our customers with precision plastic components for the medical device industry. Biomerics has a variety of precision screw machines, CNC mills, and CNC turning lathes to complete your project.

Often called a screw machine, Swiss Turning is capable of performing multi-axis mill and lathe operations on the same part in one work station. Round stock is continuously fed by the automatic bar feeder through the screw machine’s chuck to the cutting heads. Milling, drilling, turning and tapping operations are all achieved in a single programmed sequence using one machine.

Plastics machining is chosen for both low and high volume applications where traditional injection molding is either cost prohibitive or unable to meet tolerance requirements.

Biomerics machines the following plastic materials:

Delrin, Teflon (PTFE), ABS, Garolite, Nylon, Polypropylene, Polyethylene (UHMW, LDPE, HDPE), Polyurethane, Kynar, Acrylic (PMMA), PEEK, PPS, PAI & PI, Noryl, Ultem, Torlon.
