Quadraphilic™ TPU
Biomerics manufactures solution and extrusion grade aliphatic hydrophilic thermoplastic polyurethanes that are designed to absorb water. Solution grades are formulated to dissolve readily in organic solvents to form lacquers for spray or dip coating. Extrusion grades are formulated to maximize material properties for use in medical film and tubing applications. Both materials are designed to absorb water from 20 to 200% of the weight of the dry urethane. Quadraphilic materials exhibit excellent biocompatibility, body softening, and unique elution profiles. Quadraphilic grades are typically used in catheter coating applications, antimicrobial elution applications, body softening catheters, and wound dressings. Quadraphilic™ ALC
Quadraphilic™ ALC grades are aliphatic polycarbonate-based hydrophilic polyurethanes available in solution (SG) and extrusion (EG) grades. Polycarbonate based materials are ideal for coating Quadrathane applications and offer improved chemical resistance and biocompatibility when compared to ether-based materials.

Quadraphillic™ ALE
Quadraphilic™ ALE grades are aliphatic polyether-based hydrophilic polyurethanes available in solution (SG) and extrusion (EG) grades. Polyether grades are used in coating a wide range of medical devices including Quadraflex polyether TPU. Quadraphilic ALE offers unique body softening and superior hydrophilicity characteristics.
